Zinsta on Android and on the web: one account, two ways in

Zinsta is live in two places: the Android app on Google Play, and the browser at zinsta.app. Same account, same wallet, same chats. This is how you get in, what works where, and what is still coming.

A lot of people write to us asking which one they should install. The short answer is: you do not have to pick. Start on whichever you have in your hand. Finish later on the other.

The two ways in, in plain words

If you have an Android phone, get the app from Google Play. Search for Zinsta, or open that link. The listing is the official one: package name org.zinsta.app. If a site or a WhatsApp forward sends you an APK file, do not install it. We never distribute the app that way.

If you are on a laptop, a school computer, or a phone that is not Android, open zinsta.app in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. Nothing to download. You can watch the feed as a guest. To send a message, like a post or buy coins, you sign in.

iPhone is next. There is no App Store listing yet. If you want a mail the day it launches, use the waitlist on zinsta.org. We will send one email, not a drip.

One account. That part matters more than people think.

Create the account once. Use the same email (or Google sign-in) on the phone and on the web. Your wallet balance, the people you follow and your chats come with you. We built it that way because most people in Pakistan bounce between a phone on mobile data and a laptop on Wi-Fi.

A few practical notes from the first weeks of support mail:

• If you signed up with Google on the phone, use Google on the web too. Mixing email-and-password on one side and Google on the other makes two accounts, and the wallet will look empty on the second one.
• You have to be 18. Date of birth is checked when you create the account, not when you browse as a guest. That is a hard rule. We do not make exceptions for it.
• Phone-number verification is not on yet. Skip any page that asks you to “verify SMS to claim coins”. That is not us.

What the Android app is for

The Play app is the full product. Camera for posts and reels, DMs, lives, wallet, creator studio, payouts. If you are a creator applying with your CNIC, do that in the app. Identity photos are easier to take there, and that is the flow we review.

It also keeps you signed in, so a live or a call does not depend on a browser tab you closed. Notifications land on the phone. The web can do a lot. It cannot replace a phone in your pocket.

What the web is for

zinsta.app is the same product in a browser. Use it when you want a bigger screen, when you are at a desktop, or when you do not want to install anything yet. Guests can open Home, Reels, Explore and public profiles without an account, the way you can watch a public feed elsewhere and only sign in when you need to act.

Follow, comment, messages and wallet writes still need a login. If you tap those as a guest, a sign-in sheet opens on the same page. You do not get thrown onto a dead login screen.

A sensible first ten minutes

1. Install from Play or open zinsta.app.
2. Create an account. Tick the terms. Put in a real date of birth.
3. Pick a few people to follow. You can browse without paying.
4. Message friends, watch lives, or buy optional coins for gifts. Nothing is required to watch the feed.

What is not in the Play listing yet

The store page is version 1.0.2. We have shipped more on the web and in newer Android builds (posts and reels, people, the wallet you see on zinsta.app). Play updates when we upload a new bundle, which is a separate step from the website. If the app on your phone looks a version behind the browser, that is why. The account is still the same.

Watch rewards and SMS login are built but off. Anyone promising you coins for watching videos or asking you to verify a number “from Zinsta support” is running a script. Delete the chat.

iPhone, for the people who asked

We get this every day. There is no iOS app to sideload, and we will not email you a testflight link from a random Gmail. When it is on the App Store, the waitlist gets one note. Until then, use zinsta.app in Safari. It is not a fake wrapper. It is the real product.

Do I need a new account for the web?

No. Sign in with the same method you used on the phone.
