Delete your Zinsta account

You can delete your account and personal data from the app, or ask us to do it if you no longer have the app.

Option 1: In the app

1. Open Zinsta and go to Profile.
2. Tap Delete account at the bottom.
3. Enter your password and confirm.

Option 2: Without the app

Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my Zinsta account. Include your name and the handle or phone number on the account. We reply to confirm and start the deletion within 7 days.

If your account uses a phone number you can also request deletion at api.zinsta.org/delete-account with a code sent by SMS.

What happens

• Your account is deactivated right away and permanently deleted after 30 days. Signing in during those 30 days cancels the request.
• We delete your profile, photo, email, phone number, devices, favourites and messages linked to you. Creator ID documents are deleted within 90 days of review.
• Payment and session records are kept in anonymised form for as long as the law requires for accounting and fraud prevention.
• Any wallet or earnings balance left on the account is lost, so withdraw it first in the app.
